From Dundalk
Drive down Dublin Road Newry, left lane follow signs for Belfast. At roundabout courthouse on left turn right on the Rathfriland Road, drive through Mayobridge to Hilltown and drive down hill. At the Bridge turn Right and drive along kilkeel Road for approx 2 miles. Take first Road to the right -Sandbank Rd and keep driving for approx 4 miles. Santa's Cottage is on the Right.
From Newry
Follow Rathfriland Rd in Newry and drive through Mayobridge to Hilltown. Drive down hill, at the Bridge turn Right and drive along kilkeel Road for approx 2 miles. Take first Road to the right -Sandbank Rd and keep driving for approx 4 miles. Santa's Cottage is on the Right.
From Downpatrick
Drive to Clough, turn right for Castlewellan. Drive through Castlewellan, through Kilcoo village and turn left for Hilltown. As you drive towards Hilltown you will drive round a sharp bend, passing a Church and a school on your left. Prior to the bridge you turn left at the signs: .Santa.s Cottage, Kilkeel Spelga.. Drive on the Kilkeel Rd for approx 2 miles and take the first Rd to the right, called the Sandbank Rd. Drive for approx 4 miles, passing the Leitrim Forest Picnic Area on left. Drive for another mile, you will see Santa.s Cottage on the right hand side of the road.
DIRECTIONS FROM BELFAST
From Belfast, drive to Newry via M1. Drive through Newry and then to
Warrenpoint, (which is 7 miles from Newry via dual carriageway).
Drive straight through Warrenpoint and turn left for Rostrevor along the coast Rd.
Then drive straight through Rostrevor Village and up the hill, passing a Church at
the top of the hill on the right, and then passing a telephone kiosk also on the
right. Take 1st road to the right, which is the .Newtown Road.. Santa.s Cottage is
approx 4 miles from here. Keep driving on the Newtown Rd, you will pass over a
small bridge firstly and then a large narrow bridge which takes you to a forest area
on the Right and Left sides of the road. You have now entered .Santa Land.; keep
driving until you come out of the forest area and approx 1 mile, further into the
valley you will see Santa.s Cottage on the left side of the Road.
DIRECTIONS FROM DUNDALK-NEWRY
Drive down Dublin Rd in Newry, pass through three sets of traffic lights, turn right
@ the fourth set of lights for Warrenpoint. Drive on dual carriageway for 7 miles.
Drive straight through Warrenpoint and turn left for Rostrevor, (which is 2 miles
from Warrenpoint along the coast). Drive through Rostrevor village and up the hill,
passing the church on right @ top of the hill, and then passing telephone kiosk,
also on the right. Directly past telephone kiosk, turn right onto the .Newtown
Road., .Santa.s Cottage., is 4 miles from here. Remain on Newtown Road, passing
the .Yellow Water Picnic area. on right. (Approx 2 miles along Newtown Road). You
are now in .Santa Land., forest area on your right and left. Keep driving until you
leave forest and approx 1 mile into the valley, you will see .Santa.s Cottage., on
your left.
